This is the Last Communique from the wavemaster... (05/2003)
Yeah, I know...should have posted this a little bit earlier, but ya'all know, theres here something to do and there something to do, and before you realize it, the months have passed by. Besides, you know me...always a lazy sod.

Now I felt that this is the time to make it official:
The site wavelenghts.com, as you have known it, will cease to exist in it's former meaning.

Sorry, but you know why...I'm simply not that wealthy enough to fork it over with a bunch of lawyers wo are defending the ones who think that sites like these will lead to the end of music (sales) as we know it.
Unfortunately, we have already lost not only a source of expanding our musical horizons, as it's not only this site but a number of similar sites who had to close down in the recent months, but also another way of communication apart from meeting in forums. Me, I'm really feeling sad about the decisions of the politicians and corporations, as sites like these and many others had absolutely no harm (and/or finanicial interests) in mind, on the contrary.
Anyway, the words are out, the laws had changed, and wavelenghts.com is dead. For now. Maybe I will find another use for it in the future, but for today, you can only watch the reminders and dream yourself back to better times.

My almost last words and thanx (in no order of preference) are going out to Blake who had inspired me to start my little project (which made it at last to No. 1 in the Google rankings under this keyword - thanks to you), Jimmy Joe Snark III of THE WEATHERMEN (yes, THE WEATHERMEN!), Kirk of TDOL, Micha of DEARMAX, Dan "DJ Daffy" Sheldon for being the former host of the best radio show on earth, The 80s Rewind at WERG, Marion Kuechenmeister of INVISIBLE LIMITS for her generousity of allowing me to post one of their excellent tracks here at this place and the funky crazy guys of MHZ from Argentina.

And - of course - to all of you who had accompanied me and my site during it's short time span of active existence. In case I have forgotten to name someone specially - be assured, I have only forgotten your names.

The last words: feel free to contact me if you just like to exchange a few words or you have any questions apart from sending you any music or my sexual preferences. Don't contact me if you only want to misuse my e-mail address for spam mails.

TRANSMISSION END -
